About Me
Richa has been working in the hospitality industry for over 17 years, and has demonstrated a deep commitment and expertise in the Rooms and Housekeeping Division. Her unwavering passion for improving the quality of housekeeping services is evident in her extensive knowledge and hands-on approach to hospitality operations. Recently, Richa undertook a project where she trained Housekeeping students at Dubai College of Tourism.
Richa is a skilled Housekeeping and Front Office Trainer and Coach with extensive experience in imparting critical skills and knowledge on effective housekeeping practices. She is proficient at offering tailored advice and guidance to individuals, helping them reach their full potential by focusing on improving cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency within hotel settings. Her role is pivotal in transforming the housekeeping functions to achieve superior standards of service.
Richa has made significant contributions to esteemed hotels such as the Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, the Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort and Spa, the Grand Hyatt Dubai, and the Hyatt Regency Mumbai. In these roles, she has demonstrated exceptional capability in both hands-on operations and strategic oversight. In 2016, she became a Front Office Manager with Starwood AUH and set a benchmark as FOM on guest and associate satisfaction index while maximizing revenue and reducing turnover. In 2018, she was promoted as Executive Housekeeper to grow and structure the Housekeeping and Laundry department.
Her training methodology emphasizes the critical importance of attention to detail, a cornerstone of excellence in housekeeping. She effectively manages training sessions, ensuring comprehensive learning experiences for trainees by accommodating diverse learning styles and experiences. Her educational achievements, including the ABC’s of Housekeeping Certificate from the Rooms & Engineering Academy and the ‘Service Culture Certification’ from Westin Hotel and Resort, alongside numerous other certifications, underscore her commitment to professional growth and excellence in hospitality.
