Distilling the power of an advanced assessment tool into one page of quick, meaningful insight, the Brain Profiles provide snapshots of your brain’s styles and talents to effectively use emotional + cognitive data.

Serious science made simple.  While many emotional intelligence tests and psychological profiles focus on behavior, these tools look at the drivers. Brain Style is about capability.  Unlike many “style inventories,” the Brain Brief is distilled from a full-power psychometric assessment. Participants take the SEI, the best-in-class emotional intelligence assessment, and responses are analyzed using a special algorithm utilizing all 20 normative scales. In short, the profiles bring a decade of research into an easy-to-use single page profile with profound value for learning, coaching, performance management, selection, and growth.

Brain Brief Profiler (BBP)

How does your brain focus, decide, and drive?

What is your Brain Style?

How your brain prefers to use your EQ?

Starting from neuroscience and 15 years of research on emotional intelligence, the BBP is 1 page profile provides a simple, practical summary of a person’s style for using emotional intelligence (EQ) — how they are integrating thinking + feeling to make good decisions to drive positive results.

The BBP includes three scales:
  • Focus
  • Decisions
  • Drive

Rather than examining behavior, the tool focuses on patterns of thinking, creating a style that underlies behavior.

The Brain Brief Profile is ideally suited to:

Brain Talent Profiler (BTP)

What are your brain’s key strengths for creating the future?

How you can put EQ in Action?

How can you best use your brain’s capabilities?

Starting with a database of over 60,000 emotional assessments from around the globe, Six Seconds looked at the results to derive the model of the ‘six clusters’, in focus, Decision and Drive.

Based on the robust research Six Seconds have identified the 18 essential talents to create the future.  Like a smartphone app, these “Brain Apps” are tools to build effectiveness.

Which “apps” do you want to run today?

Brain Apps: An “App” is a metaphor to describe talent or capability. What does your brain like to do? What functions are easy and smooth for your brain?

The 18 “Brain Apps” describe unique, powerful capabilities to create positive change.  These “Brain Apps” are not necessarily behaviors. They describe capabilities that you can use.

Due to the principle of neuroplasticity, we know the brain changes itself during the entire lifespan. While other assessment profiles offer a somewhat fixed view of the individual, the BTP is built upon learnable competencies of EQ

Grounded ins research, these competencies are essential to flourish in complex time’s like Post COVID Era – at work, in school, in life.

What Brain Apps are you running today?

Brain Discovery Profiler (BDP)

How are your style, strengths, and challenges creating results?

Do you know your highest and lowest EQ Talent?

The BDP is the most in-depth of the profiles, and it brings together a view of Brain Style with highest and lowest Brain Talents, and highest and lowest Outcomes.

This progression forms a logical chain: EQ drives talents, talents drive outcomes.

The Brain Discovery Profiler is ideally suited to:

Linking EQ, Talents and Performance

Executive Coaching:  Encourage coaches to use their talents to reach their goals – and not get stuck in potential pitfalls.

Performance Development: How to use your EQ capabilities to generate stringer results?

Selection: Align your company’s competencies with EQ capabilities and hire colleagues as per your business needs. How can these top talents support you in this new role, and how can you overcome these lowest talents.

The BDP was planned with selection as a key application. EQ is important for work performance, so hiring managers need an easy-but-powerful way to bring EQ into the interview.

Using the BDP, an interviewer might ask: “Give me an example of how you’ve successfully used one of these top talents in your work? And, Choose one of the lowest scoring talents, and tell me how that has been a challenge for your work?”

Dashboard, Groups EQ Talent

Are you interested to know what are the EQ strengths and challenges for your team?

This 1-page synthesis provides clarity on the characteristics of a group and helps understand the team’s SWOT (Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats). This will allow you to be more effective in planning, communicating, and collaborating.

EQ Speedometer – The speedometer shows the group’s average level of emotional. The score represents the capability to be aware of emotions, to manage reactions and to align choices toward the long term. The value on the speedometer is an average score of the whole group, but it could be the individuals are far below and above that average.

The Group Brain Profile – In line with the Brain Brief Profile, we can help you interpret Brain style scores.

The Group Brain Talent (Apps) – Like a smart-phone, “App,” having it does not necessarily mean it’s used. The Apps describe capabilities that the group can leverage and apply to create results.
